Guest flow improvements

Very interesting!

As a Maxpass afficionado, I was especially interested in the discussion of how they’re tinkering with FP distribution - things like having less Matterhorn FPs given out for parade times, for instance. I find those details fascinating.

Also, I’m real excited about a dragon scrim. So excited I can’t grammar properly.

I just read this article and came to see if anyone posted about it. I think some of the changes are nice, but it probably won't be enough .

A couple interesting points in the article are related to Peter Pan. He mentioned the change to Dumbo's queue and said they're looking to do something similar with Peter Pan. It was also mentioned that they would like to have stroller corals around the various lands. I was thinking about the rumor a year or so back about the old heraldry shop somehow becoming a queue for Peter Pan. I also thought about the space as stroller parking, but it does not seem like there would be room for both. However, it seems they're running short on time if they were going to redo Pan's queue before SWGE .

Thanks... that is a interesting read for sure.
There are so many little things you by can change and improve the overall guest experience...
I still wish they could paint some lines or change some brickwork to mark the waiting queue and make the wait for Harbour security less crazy...(clear waiting queues would really improve the situation there...)

And I wish they would do something with the old people’s mover tracks...
But I hope Disney will do a big Tomorrowland overhaul in the next couple of years after SWGE opened. I think it is to much of a duplicate with all that Star Wars stuff there and after removing that it is to empty in my opinion...That Star Wars stuff was great as an intermediate solution but now they have to imagineer some new things there...

Spot on about Tomorrowland. I can't imagine how hard it will be to move Star Tours, but the Star Wars aspect in Tomorrowland always amused me, since SW starts off 'a long time ago.....'! I wonder what they will do to keep it interesting. Perhaps something more like Mission to Mars? Maybe a nod to the old movie, Flight of the Navigator? With Marvel land/super heroes going in DCA, it'll be interesting to see what characters end up there too.

Frankly I think DL should bite the bullet and move ST to SWGE like it will be at WDW. In order to do that though, they would have to leave space in SWGE for it to be placed.

Has anyone else noticed that there has been a change to the queue for PP recently? The DAS/WC return line at the exit had an additional line added on the right side of where the CM control podium at the exit -- the new line takes you straight along the right side of the building, directly to the turnstile. You enter into the regular line at the turnstile and go in to the last leg to boarding. CMs go through the DAS/WC return line and separate you into the two lines. A CM said it had been like that for 2 months, but I remember seeing a construction wall in that spot during the recent rain storms, which weren't 2 months ago. It looked like the new line could be used for FP returns, too, but I still don't know where the machines would go.

Actually, they are also using it as an entrance for VIPs and VIP tours. Not going to be for FPs.

Yup. That’s how we got walked on during our ABD and the entrance we used for a multi expierence fastpass that was good for any ride in both parks.
