Guest experiences with daily room checks

Staying at Saratoga Springs with DVC points. Tonight a very light knock, almost didn't hear it. Wife went to open the door and a woman says "inspection". What? Is this what it has come down to? We are animals and we are to be inspected? No trash emptying, no nothing. She peers for 2 seconds into the master bedroom with no lights on (the curtains were drawn and was dark) and turned around and looked at the living room for 2 or 3 seconds. She turns around and says good night. I never felt so inhumane. They use people who just don't have the brightest bulb available for these jobs. Disgusting.

As it's now been over two years since the room check policy was implemented, we're going to stop collecting guest experiences in this thread. The thread will be closed to new posts, but will remain here in the sticky thread section so you can still read past experiences.
