Guest Drop-off

If you are taking a towncar service to Universal...where do they drop you off? Their web-site says there is a guest drop off area. Is it like Disney where you have to take a shuttle of some sort to the partk entrance or is everything in walking distance?

Not sure where you are dropped off, but everything is within walking distance...CityWalk, the hotels, US and IOA.

I believe they drop you off at the same place as the Shuttle buses, which is at the bottom of the escalators (sorry, can't remember what the US word for escalator is). You just then go up and along the moving walkways and you are into CityWalk. 5 minutes walk at most

The guest drop-off area is the closest entry area (except for Valet). You're actually closer than preferred or Disabled parking!

(sorry, can't remember what the US word for escalator is).
