Because of my "lovely" job, I've been listening to a lot of old podcasts, and I was recently listening to the Disney line that they raised the price of buffets due to "guest demand." When I first heard it, I agreed with the podcast crew that it was ridiculous, but then I began to wonder if "guest demand" meant the amount of guests demanding the buffet. It's a little bit like the supply and demand we learn in economics class. If that is the case, then that makes the hike in prices more understandable. I don't like it, but I can see where they're coming from. This also means that if less guests are demanding it, then price should go down. Will it? Probably not, but it is a good argument to lob at Disney.
I apologize if this has been mentioned before, but it just popped into my mind. Am I nuts? Am I a Disney apologist? Is mentioning this so pointless that this thread is actually creating a large chasm of nothingness in the universe which every reader will be sucked into in order to fill the void? (Yes, my self-esteem is fine)
