Guest Communications?

Hey all!

So I was hoping some of you might be able to give me some ideas.

I just got back from the Polynesian and had a really unfortunate stay with some MAJOR problems (see trip report -- linked in sig). So when I got home I typed up a letter and e-mailed it to guest communications.

So my question is, have any of you had problems at a WDW resort and emailed guest communications? If so, have you heard back from them? Did they try to make ammends for your problems?

If you have written them, how long did it take to hear back from them?

I'd appreciate your input.

Cheers,
Josh

I had a major problem as well during my last stay at the Poly and immediately wrote guest services upon my return and they promptly responded by calling me. Of course it was too late to fix anything but at least I was able to vent to them since my attempts to do so at the Poly fell upon deaf ears.

My TA contacted Guest Communications for me. It took awhile, I never received a phone call or letter. Actually, that is all I wanted. They did however, send me a Disney plate (a few months later). I guess that was their way of apologizing. My problems were with the Poly as well. That was the only time I had to contact Guest Communications for anything.

When I emailed guest services regarding our terrible stay at the GF I listed the problems in detail along with any CMs names that applied. I received a call from guest services a week or so later. She comped us two day passes each for our party as an apology.

Hope that helps.
