It looks DVC is going all in with the Poly bungalows, since they will even have a private pool each.

So, how crazy will be the point cost for a night in a bungalow?
The most expensive night is a Grand Villa at the GFV, 227 points. However the bungalows won't be as big as other grand Villas, probably more similar to a Treehouse Villa (3 smaller overall bedrooms), costing a maximum of 76 points (a steal compared to the GFV GV).

So let's guess, how many points do you think will be required for a bungalow?

Given the points escalation with the latest resorts, the uniqueness of the experience and how exclusive it will appear the private pool, I think they will be near 300 points per night in Premier Season weekends.
Your guess?

I think the Poly bungalows will top out at less than 900 points for a week in the Premier Season, which puts the nightly costs at under 150 points for Friday/Saturday and under 120 points for Sunday/Thursday. I also think that the bungalows will cost about 475-500 points a week during the cheapest season.

I don't think the bungalows will be priced more than the VGF grand villas. There are only six VGF grand villas, but there will be 20 bungalows at the Poly. If there were to be only a half dozen bungalows, then it might be possible to charge highly inflated rates. But, since DVC will have to fill 20 bungalows 51 weeks out of the year, I think the point charges will be based on an inflated two-bedroom rated.

Based on everything I have read here and on Tikiman's website and FB page and what I have seen of the bungalows while staying at VGF, I don't think we can think of them as more than 2 BRs with a great view of MK and a plunge pool on the lagoon facing balcony. Due to the limited number of the bungalows that will raise the price some as well.

So I will say they will be 20 points higher than a VGF 2BR or 141 points for Friday-Saturday in Premier Season. And during the weeknights the price will still be higher than at VGF 2BR perhaps around 117 per night for premier season.

any clue of the cash price might be?? how many bedrooms? when will they be done and begin to take ressies?

For those of you with more historical perspective than me (I am in ROFR on some resale BLT points now)...

The cost per point of purchasing from Disney has gone up considerably as each new property has been built/made available. So my questions is this....what might be the point cost for Poly? I think the highest thus far has been $165 for VGF. Will Poly be $170? $175? More?

Just speculation I know, but as a confirmed Poly addict, I am terribly interested in what they might cost. :confused3

I am guessing they may be in the $1200-1600/nt range depending on season.

If they turn out to be only 2brs then I can not see them ranging for more than from 80-125 points per night. GVs demand a premium due to their occupancy capacity. I also agree that with 20 units that will make them less exclusive. GVs have not been booking as fully or quickly in the past few years.

I also think the majority of stays will be short, 2-4 days.
