WE ARE!!!!!!!!!!! I just booked for OCT 22-27 I cant wait!!!!! I am going to cross my fingers that nothing happens between now and then that will stop us. IT will be our first time at the fort and our first adult only trip!!!!

Thanks we cant wait, we are just a little nervous we usually go gown for at least 7 days so I am worried we wont have a lot of time. But some time is better than no time!

Thanks everyone!! Yes Adult only sounds amazing. lol We plan on getting AP's in January and coming down at least three times next year as well( We are still planning on March Bama Ed !). We are going to do a couple of weekend trips elsewhere I believe. We just have to find some nice camping places to go to.

We arrive the day before you leave too. This is our second Fort trip. We're excited to spend Halloween there. We reserved a cart for cruising the camp.

Hello Rland8228, Good job on booking. Glad to see spots still open for that time in October. DW, DD, DD, and myself will be there also. We love it at the Fort during Halloween season. We always do the Halloween party at MK, then a day at Epcot for Food&Wine. Hope you have a great time.

It was honestly impossible I had to sit and play around with date DH only gets three PH so we had to plan it around his days off and everything. We were really wanting it to be our anniversary which is Aug 22 but that's a little tougher for us to save money and go. We will see. Maybe might switch last minute but I doubt it.

I find myself in the worst predicament tonight.... we already paid the trip off almost... which means we could go in August. The only problem is I am not sure which is going to be better August is unbearable with the heat I know....but it does have longer hours in the park. We probably would have less spending money....for food and "adult beverages" but its sooooo much sooner than oct! I wouldn't have to worry about DS missing school because his father cant get him there. But at the same time Oct gives us time to save. And honestly I have no idea what we absolutely need for our pop up.Decisions Decisions, I don't plan on switching it yet just because if we cant go in Aug I don't want to lose my oct reservation because it was close to impossible to get. What would you guys do?

I would absolutely wait till Oct.,,,the fish'n will be much better then.
And most likely the weather will be better too.
And it will give ya'll a chancve to cover your supplies to make sure ya didn't forget anything,, you know, like a proper fish'n pole, the correct lures, good hooks, etc.

I'll be down over the same time, crashing with my parents in thier RV. 10/23 -10/31 for the Food & Wine Fest. We've got a preferred site so we should be up towards Pioneer Hall. Anybody around during that time ... just look for the giant lime green Mickey with BROCKTOON on the front of the RV. If we're at the site chances are I'll be outside drinking a beer.

Thanks everyone well we aren't really sure yet I am not going to cancel the reservation yet but DH is getting promoted and put into. 11 week training program and they try and have you take most of your time the first couple of weeks. On too of that I just am not sure how much I can count on DS father getting him back and forth to school. We will wait and see...

Well DH just found out today that he can't take they one off in October so we can only go in aug so it looks like we will be there now aug 21-26 better than nothing I am just not looking forward to the heat! But some time is better than no time.
