An employee of mine a long time ago had a car similiar to this. When she was driving on the expressway, she decided to put the top down and did alot of damage. So my tip to a new driver is: Don't put the top down on this car while the car is in motion :teeth:

Whoo hoo, congrats! My little sister just turned 16 yesterday and she has no desire to get her license. Hasn't even gotten her learners permit...

Actually, I was the same way til this year. I'm almost 18. I really didn't want it, but since this is my senior year I figured I should probably take the class and at least learn how to drive becaus everyone told me it would be harder and more expensive later. Got my permit back in September, just now decided I should go and get my license. :teeth:

BTW, I don't speed and I feel funny driving without my seatbelt.. (did it by accident once.. felt really strange..) and I won't put the top down while I'm driving.

We took the hard top off and washed the car yesterday. Now I just have a cloth top. I still haven't driven it with the top down. :cold:

Too chilly still.

My sister was 15 1/2 on Friday, which is when you can start driving with a parent here in NH, and hasn't stopped whining to go out driving with someone yet. I was more like the OP; the parents told me they were sick of driving me to all my activities 10 miles away at school (in another city) so it was time to get the license

My DD got her license 2 weeks ago. She turned 16 last week. Now she wants a car too. UGGGHHH.

I want to give her a used one that's really cute and works really well...maybe a Beetle or a Mini Cooper, or something like that.

Yours is very cute. Be careful driving. Don't use the cruise control when it's raining.
