I always attend Scoops pin talks while at Disney World. He is such a dear man and remembered me from two years ago. At the end of one of the pin talks he handed me a pin in a plastic envelope. Well, I glanced at it and saw it was Mickey and Stitch. I said "thank you!" and put it in my pocket. (I really need to get my glasses changed) A woman in back of me asked to see it and I handed it to her. She asked if I would trade that pin and I said no, since Scoop had given it to me. Then Nat asked to see it. I showed it to him and he congratulated me. I said "Thank you" and then I left. As I walked onto Main Street, I wondered why Nat had congratulated me. (Just a tad slow here) I took off my glasses and really looked at the pin. OMG it was a Continuing the Tradition Pin!! I couldn't believe it. I never DREAMED I would have the honor of getting this pin. The next day I caught up with Scoop on the street and gave him a big hug and really thanked him for the honor and explained about my being a tad slow and REALLY needing new glasses. Being the sweet gentleman that he is, he laughed it off and said he thought it was funny. I'm sure he knew sooner or later the light bulb would go off in my wee brain and realize what he had given me. So again THANK YOU Scoop. I will treasure that pin always. It is now locked on my lanyard for all time.
