For everyone saying "who cares?"...I am sure some of you have celebrity role models and I am sure that if you heard that he or she did something a bit extreme (like this), you'd be taken aback a bit lol. But I'm just sayin'.

But anywho, I don't doubt that this is probably just another paparazzi attempt at exploiting someone by exaggerating the truth. The media has a special gift for doing things like that.

Actually no, I don't look up to any celebrities? Why should I? They're just actresses, actors, musicians etc doing their job.

And people, it's not extreme in the least for an adult to take her top off in front of her boyfriend. It's perfectly normal.

I don't think a person who is 'of age' taking off her top in front of her long term boyfriend is 'extreme' at all.
And the only actress I've ever looked up to has taken her clothes off for nuermous roles, and one of those roles was at the age of 19 (Vanessa's age)

I really don't see a big deal with it, maybe if it was Dakota Fanning or Abigail Breslin I would have a problem with it

I've been to nude spas and tanned topless and THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! If I want to go to the beach here, half the women will be topless! Just DONT look at them, and it wont be a problem!

The only thing I meant by "extreme" was in the way it processed through the OP's eyes. Clearly it hit the OP as something degrading and thus the OP lost respect for this celebrity.

I only said that "some" might have celebrity role models since it isn't uncommon for teens or anyone look up to someone who has an impact on part of society. For instance, I think the most common celebrity role model among teens is Marilyn Monroe. Though she died quite a while ago...she was an actress and a celebrity that so many people are inspired by. The point I was trying to make in my post was that the OP looked at this actress as a role model and because the *OP* thought it was a disrespectful gesture, the OP got upset over it.

Personally, I'm with most of you when it comes to caring about what celebrities do. So many people back at college keep telling me about this whole Jamie Spears thing and her pregnancy and I just keep telling everyone that I really don't care lol. I don't go looking up this celeb gossip online and I don't watch it intently on the news...but I'm not going to tell other people what they should and should not care about lol. So be it if others take to heart what their role models do that they don't approve of. As long as they aren't forcing me to care, I'm not going to force them not to care. lol.

Yikes! High School Musical cutie Zac Efron has undergone emergency surgery to remove his appendix.

Efron was given an appendectomy yesterday after being rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

We revealed in our news only yesterday that Disney had revealed Efron and co-star Vanessa Hudgens would appear in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Let's hope Zac gets better for filming in spring.

I had an appedectomy September of '06. I was back in school within 5 days...why would it take him till spring to get better? Just sayin..

I can understand why people might have a problem with her being topless, as the movies she's involved in are targeted to a young audience.
But her personal life should have no impact on what goes on in her career.
Like when naked pictures of her were circulating, and people were speculating whether Disney was going to drop her.

Who cares if she likes to be topless?
If she was an accountant, it wouldn't impact her career at all.
I think people have gotten a little obsessed with celebrity's personal lives.
