guess what i got for my b-day!!!!

Oh I just love my dh. He bought me a cricut for my birthday!!!!! I am just so excited. So I guess he does listen when I babble on and on about my scrapbooking! My ds (4)had 2 b-day parties this weekend, so I have not even opened the box. They gave it to me this am and off to the ds friends birthday party. Boo Hoo. I said, hey it's my birthday too ya know!!!!!But it's all good. I just can't wait to try it out. StichisOurHero has made it sound like so much fun. I hope it's not hard to figure out. I am after all "mechanically stupid" (if you will). So maybe dh will have to hang out and help me figure it out.
The lady at Michael's told him to hold on to his reciept, but would not tell him why? Is it on sale today? I have not even had a chance to look at the sale papers yet. Anyone know if it's on sale? I told my dh if it is I'll take the reciept and get the difference back and he said, why don't you buy a "thingie" (cartridge in scrapbook terms) for it with the difference. So that will be good if it is actually on sale!
Well just thought I would share my great birthday story with you. I have had the greatest birthday today!!!! I just love my men. They are so good to me!

Make sure the pressure is right for your paper weight (the green thingy) . That gets me EVERYTIME LOL

thanks everyone! i am just so excited to use it. i have a very busy week, so maybe next weekend i can open the box, set it up and let it go!!!! hopefully, anyway.
