Guess what I found.......

My mum put her bank book in the freezer with the shopping once and went all the way back to see if she left it on the counter :lmao: Sadly, i have now reached that level of seniority as I still can't find my special trippie notebook - I know if I buy another it will turn up:headache: And I was convinced we still had DS(8)s target setting book from school - I turned the house upside-down before parent's evening, even though he insisted he'd taken it back weeks ago. So I turned up all  and his teacher said - "Oh yes, he did bring it back early, I've got it here":rotfl2:

I always thought I was the only one that did things like this....;)

This is a regular occurrence at our house. I have notes everywhere reminding me where things are. I think my notes have notes.

And it's always the important stuff too Birth certificates, passports, DH's Navy papers, stock certificates. You name it! Of course I find them after I don't need them anymore or replace them. That is a given!

For christmas stuff, Make your notes on next year's december calendar page. Helps when i buy stuff at after the holidays sales to write what i have so i don't rebuy it.

I am so forever putting things where I know they will be and forgetting where that is. I still haven't found the birthday cards I bought for DH's parents three years ago. Cards are my biggest offenders. I think I need to make myself a card holder like my recipe tin.

Congrats on finding them! I'd say you should send them to one of us for safe-keeping but we would put them away somewhere "safe" for you and then forget where that is. I think you should follow Rebecca's recommendation.
