Guess my PIN was really good

I booked earlier this year with a RO discount for the Poly. I was hoping for free dining thinking its a better deal. I got a FD PIN email but it starts the week after we leave so no good. I tried booking online and after comparing the price with my costs with the RO it is just about the same. So I am so happy I booked when I got my PIN code. Also the summer deal they have out now is only 20% off the Poly so I did good again. Sorry for sounding so silly but I'm just happy I made a good choice LOL.

When you stay deluxe and don't have many people in the room, the RO discount is usually a good discount. If you stay value or mod or have a larger family, FD can save you WAY more money. That is why you should always price any discount you receive.

Every year, I compare room discount with free dining, and for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) staying deluxe, the room discount has always beat out free dining. The reason is that the deluxe room prices are so outrageously high that if you can get 30% off that, it will be more $$ off than what the dining plan costs per day. Now, if I would only get a discount (any discount for Jan 2014) (wishful thinking!).
