As a Catholic, we believe everyone (whether a person believes in God or not) is given a guardian angel at the start of life to watch over them. When I was little, the parish priest at the time said we are allowed to name our guardian angel since everyone has their own unique angel assigned to them. So I’m curious if you ever named your guardian angel or if not, what would you name him/her? Here’s the prayer that Catholics to their personal angel: https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/devotions/prayer-to-your-guardian-angel-373
I hope this thread is seen as respectful. This thread is not meant to judge believers or non believers in anyway. With the new year about to start, I just think we have many things to be thankful for and praying for a healthy, happy, and safe new year never does any harm.
Happy New Year everyone.
