GSS closing for 4 months. Re-theming?

Is this a standard refurb or are they retheming it for Pixar Pier? Seems a long time.

I am not sure. I also saw that and honestly was perfectly fine with that being closed while we are there. Just not my favorite at all. My son will be disappointed though.

Yes, a lot of people are assuming that GSS is going to be the first Pixar Pier ride to be ~possibly~ re-themed.

I mean, with just a general refurb, what in the world would they be doing to that ride for 4 months straight?!? Haha!

We will be there the week between Christmas and New Years, it will be very interesting to see what will come out of it . My family loves Goofy's Sky School but a Pixar theme would be fun too.

I hope they put something completely new in. I hated it when it was Mulholland Madness and no improvement for Goofy's Sky School. This is one ride I outright refuse to go on because of how painful it is and I LOVE rollercoasters (and anything Disney). Would love to see something else there.
