I do understand how crowds (and boy oh boy was it ever crowded!) can be hard on the CM's. Really, I do. But they are getting paid to be there for us... right? If someone is being a butthead, yeah, I suppose I cant blame a CM for getting snippy... but they should not let it linger over onto other guests. I wont harp about how people save, plans and take two flights and taxis' etc to get there and spend thier hard earned money at Disney, when in fact there are other options where folks could spend thier money. (Maybe I just harped) but I do expect the CM's to try to do thier job. MOST DO! Dont get me wrong. MOST DO! But I saw an abnormal amount of them who did not try that week. Really, we have to be honest- working with the public ISNT for everyone.
I have to say with all the standing in line I talked to SO MANY really cool families! Utah, Idaho and Seattle were a few. Fun nice people! I never did ask them if they were on this forum, and I just bet some were. I should have asked.
The absolute nicest CM this trip was the guy who seems to always drive the firetruck. Nicest guy!! We also had two wait-staff who were new and in training.
Michael from Cafe Orleans laughed with us as he spilled a coke on hubbys lab. Ooops! LOL! It was ok. We totally knew he was in training, and laughed with him. He was so nervous!! That kind of thing is totally no biggy, and even sort of fun to try to relax them. But the snippy ones who act like I am bothering them are no fun, and make me wonder how many people in SoCal would love to have their job.
