I love this idea for a count down calender. I was wondereing if I could get days for 155 to 162.

Also could I get day's 6 and 5 changed to characters and then
day 4 for the Disneyland and
day 3 to DCA.

See we are going to Disneyland not WDW.

What a great idea...I didn't even think of Disneyland! (My family loves Disneyland, unfortunately we are a bit too far to make that trip regularly!)

I planned on making higher numbers for another request and I already started working on them. I will try to have these days posted today. I will also make changes to the lower days to suit Disneyland.

I couldn't decide whether to use baby Ariel or grown up Ariel, so I did both. If you would rather have human Ariel with Eric, please let me know.

There are two number 4's because I really wasn't sure what the "current" logo is and these were the two I found.

Hi!

I wanted to let you guys know that I finally had my countdown books bound. I took them to FedEx Kinkos. They were able to fit all the index cards (158 of them) into one spiral bound book (Staples told me that they could only do up to 1 inch, my books were about 1/4 inch over).

I have never done something like this so it was definitely a live and learn situation. I pictured in my mind glueing cardboard or something of the sort to the covers so that it would stand, sort of like a desk calendar. However, the index cards are a bit too thin for that and the book as a whole too heavy.

I think the next time I would make a triangular stand out of cardboard and have it bound into the book along with the index cards. This might work out a bit better and be a bit more supportive. This time around I am going to buy thick ribbon from Michaels (going tomorrow) and thread it through the spiral with a bow on top so the girls can hang it on the wall. I figure if I make the loop big enough, they will be able to flip the pages through to the other side, instead of tearing them off.

The books came out really cute!!! I am going away for the weekend to see my nieces but I will post pictures when I get back.

I used the blank Mickey head from Rumbley Tumbley (at least I am almost positive that is where I got it from...I definitely got the idea to add the characters to the MIckey head from her) and then I searched the internet for Disney clip art. Using Paint Shop Pro, I added the characters in using layers.

Is there something in particular you are looking for? I saved all my designs before adding text.

I made these bookmarks for my Kindergarten class. I printed them on cardstock and laminated them. They turned out so cute! And really I think they could be used for anything. I am thinking about making tote bags for my girls and using these to put their names on the bags. I am sure there are other good uses out there too.

I have a TON of characters so please ask if you would like a different character! (Pretty much any character you see in the countdown disigns, I can put on a bookmark too!)
