My husband was diagonosed with Luekemia. It is 90% "curable"...meaning that there is a 90% chance with chemo he will go into remission and stay there for at least 5 years. He went through chemo last week.

Yesterday, he had a fever all day. When I called his Dr last night (honestly thinking that she would just tell me what to do to bring it down) she told me to take him to the ER and they admitted him. Between chemo appointments and this, I am exhausted and haven't had time to fulfil design requests. I am truly sorry to those that I promised disigns too...I planned to catch up last night and had no idea I would instead be spending the night at the hospital.

On top of this, I am supposed to go out of town Saturday and come home Tuesday. I should be able to disign again when I return barring any more unexpected problems. If you are no longer interested in your disign, please let me know.

Again, I am truly sorry.

I originally started this thread to share my countdown disigns. My sister's family and I are going to Disney in June for the first time together (we have gone many times seperately)! I came up with the countdown to give to our kids as a way of telling them we are going and to get them excited for our trip.

I am also going to post here other DISigns that I have come up with.

~ COUNTDOWN DISIGNS ~

The original Mickey head graphic and the concept of a character standing near it are from Rumbley Tumbley. However, the countdown design is my idea and I added all of my own characters and all the text.

If you would like me to add holidays and special dates to a few of your countdown numbers, I will need to know on which countdown number you would like what holiday. It would look like this:

I used excel to figure out my entire countdown so that I would have it in front of me as I was designing. That might help you too to figure out when holidays and special events fall.

Hi! Here are the countdown numbers from 154-75 (will have to display over the next few posts)! I should have 74-0 up tomorrow! =D

If you would like "special occasions" added to any of these, please let me know the holiday and or image you are looking for and the countdown number it falls on. Also, if you would like numbers higher than 154, please let me know, but also bear in mind that I might have to re-use some designs as I am running out of unique pictures. =D

Keep in mind that these may look a little more distorted than they actually print. I am not sure why (one of the many things I have yet to understand when working with paint shop pro and images in general) but on the screen they look a lot bigger than they actually print (and therefore not as distorted)! These should print about 4 x 6.

I haven't actually binded mine yet, I will hopefully will have them all printed early next week (I need to make six books!). I will post pictures when I am done.

I guess with it binded they could rip each day off but I am hoping that they will just flip it to the back so they can save them.

I will hopefully have the rest of the numbers up tonight.

Hello all...here are numbers 74 through 45. I apologize for not having them all ready tonight! My daughter's boyfriend broke up with her tonight (she is 15!!) so you can imagine it hasn't been a fun night at my house! I wouldn't pay a million bucks to be that age again!
