Hmmm, just scrutinised my post-vacation credit card transactions...

1) Checked out of Vistana "nothing to pay sir".

2) Returned rental car to Alamo - had paid for fuel and everything else in advance and also signed form on return that stated "balance to pay 0.00"

So what do I find on my statement......

Vistana Resort LBV $0.90
Alamo Rentacar Orlando $9.59

These may only be tiny amounts, but I have no idea what "charges" they have made up on my pre-swiped card......they are really annoying though.

Im sure its a scam as its happened before....they know most people wont bother to query the amount so they get away with it.

I'm only guessing, but could the 90 cents be a sort of 'test' transaction to ensure you card is valid?

well its been charged on the day I departed, but regardless of when it was charged, its potentialy a fraudulant transaction.

How annoying

Problem is that you'd probably spend that much on phonecalls to sort it out!

Raise a dispute with your credit card provider :) They will credit the amounts back to your card.
