Well, from reading this, I guess I'm not really a paralegal--I'm a prostitute. I can't argue that ANYTHING is out of the realm of my responsibilities (which include everything from questioning witnesses to picking up dry cleaning).

You stole the words right out of my mouth! Right now, my DH's best friend is in the basement playing video games w/ my DH.

What's wrong with that you ask? Because that is the same scenario that has happened every night since January!!! He was supposed to only be here for a few weeks while he bought a house, and here we are almost 8 months later!

What's that saying about fish & house guests both smelling? ARGH!!!!

And what's worse is, he just bought a house.... IN FT. LAUDERDALE!!! Apparently he is going to be commuting here (near D.C.) a few days a week and only spending weekends there. I have no say, because his rent money to us is helping while I am in school.

But, if I snap and break his neck while he sleeps, there goes my degree AND the rent money!!!

Ok... deep breaths... I am ok now.

But really, I do feel bad for all of you that have REAL problems. Mine is just an annoying, trivial one.

Whenever they do a story about heavier or overweight Americans they ALWAYS show what I have called the 'big butt cam'. Where it is of a larger person being videotaped in an unflattering below the waist shot. l Being a Pooh shaped gal I take offense to this.

On this note, I also take offense when they talk about celebrities being overweight and they show someone at the heaviest when you know that that person had gone through a drug problem. I saw this happen to Matthew Perry a few weeks ago. Made me angry!

I got to work yesterday- opened my email and there's a message from our boss.... "oops, staff meetings Wed and Thurs- sorry for the short notice" I do have a life.... a little notice would be helpful. and these are mandatory meetings. Also useless drivel filled meetings. Need to add this means I work late today covering so someone else can go and stay late tomorrow so I can go.

I'm trying to put a picture in my signature and, no matter how much I re-size the thing, it still shows up HUGE in my signature, so I can't post it. Fine. Now nobody gets to see my cat, Ally. She's cute. But, the stupid picture keeps re-sizing itself when I try and post it, so nevermind.

good morning- so far so good. i work from home and i just had to remove the beer bottle that i left on my desk from last nights DIS visit! how great is that?
