Just don't do it! I was reading a thread and the poster just used huge letters. It hurts my eyes! No color combined with sizes. Just use what the DIS provides you with. Do you really have to change the color and size? Is it that important where you have to hurt other people's eyes?

Yea, for normal posts it gets annoying. But for like birthdays and welcoming and stuff like that I'll change the color and size.

Another really annoying thing is when people abbreviate too much. Like:

zomg ne way my bf is soo hawt and sxc nd i luvvv him!

Like, gah just learn to type normal words. lol and brb, things like that aren't bad. Just sometimes it gets to be too much.

Yes! That's my biggest pet peeve too. That, and grammar mistakes.

Or using the correct form of the word. I forget what they are called, but words like "which, witch" "then, than" "where, were". Like the old guys thread, I think it was something like, "Guys thread (where the girls more THEN likely will post more THEN the guys." No offense to Matt for making that one though...

yes! I believe they are either homonyms or homophones. not sure WHICH one. haha
grammar and spelling mistakes bother me. I guess I am just a nerd.

I just did that though. For the summer thread. I normally dont post with different colors, unless I'm starting a thread just to be festive!

I dont mind it. Sometimes its actually easier to read believe it or not. I usually only do it on surveys and whatnot.
