Grrr... Got a 20% pin, can't use it...

Sooo... I sign up for the DVD in hopes of getting a pin. Got the DVD weeks ago, no pin. Didn't want to wait, so I booked a vacation for NYE. YESTERDAY I got a postcard saying my DVD is on the way, here's a 20% discount on selected dates w/a pin. ARGH!!! I have already booked my flights!!!!!!!!!!! I would end up paying more in fees to change the flights! I tried every which way to see if we could squeeze in a little mini-trip, but alas, no such luck. I am sure some of you can relate, so I just thought I would vent.
