So I'm curious....what is your head gear of choice when touring Disney? I usually wear a ball cap for sun protection, but ALWAYS buy a new ear hat and wear it over my cap. For this next trip I am taking it one step further and bought a small tiara to wear at MK. (PS Im 29 and ecstatic to be wearing a tiara :P)

How about you?

I never wear head gear, unless you count headbands and bows. I'm just not a hat person, they don't look right on me. I wish I did look better in them because I have black hair and in the summer or basically anytime at Disney it gets super hot to the touch and I'm sure my scalp gets burned.

I know this is :offtopic: BUT the quotes in your signature are HILARIOUS! I used to have a post card with the Q-tip line! The man's stomach one reminds me of hearing the joke: I like my men like I like my coffee---ground up and in the freezer.

I have bangs, so I rarely wear headgear while at the parks since hats tend to squish my bangs down and I don't like that. If it's really hot, though, I'll pin my bangs back and throw on a wide brim hat (I have a cute black fedora that works well for this). I also have my trusty red Boston Red Sox baseball cap that I sometimes wear, too.

As for ear hats, I have three: a pink set of classic Minnie ears with my name on the back for general wear, a special It's My Birthday set of ears w/my name on them for if I'm ever there on my birthday, and my newest set of ears are the Steampunk ears I got at DHS. They have brown sequins all over, with feathers and a brass-looking key, and I added the steampunk Mickey pin to them, as well. They're my favorite.

I will wear my bucket type hat if I remember to bring it (most times I forget).

I wanted to do classic Minnie ears for our trip, but ear hates don't allow me to style my hair and headbands give me a headache.... Sooooo I ended up finding these adorable Minnie Mouse ear clips for my hair for $12 in the parks!

I wear a visor sometimes. I don't like to have hat head. So that's the only thing I'll do on occasion.

ETA- I don't like my hair messed up.

I think a better question for me is what hat I don't like! My husband and I wear matching hats most days we tour the parks. Our favorites are the traditional Goofy hats, but we also have Mickey Ears and Oswald Ears that we sport too. I have several pairs of ear hats in slightly different styles, and I think my favorite is actually a baseball style one with ears. When I finished my PhD I was very excited to get a set of ears that said Dr. Weasel on the back. I love wearing hats at Disney. And we cart them all back and forth each trip.

I will be wearing my floppy Panama Jack hat. I bought it many years ago at Universal when I forgot to pack my hat. Thanks for the reminder - I just got it out of the closet and threw it on my Disney pile. I NEED sun protection for my head and face, not worried about how my hair looks, and I am not the type to wear ears or a tiara!

I bought a cute pink wide brimmed hat on Amazon, and I love it. Plan to buy more colors before our August trip!

I agree with not having hat hair. At some point the hat has to come off....visor for sun protection is the best.

My hair is fine and curly so any sort of downward pressure on it usually spells disaster, it works out that my head and face aren't right for hats.

And thank you, I've gotten several compliments on my signature phrases on here which means Yay there's other people as twisted as me!

Those quotes are great. I have the Minnie and Pooh hair clips, but they do not stay in my hair- too fine. My go to head gear is a Minnie Mouse head band with flowered hat in Classic Minnie style.

I tend to wear one of my Red Sox hats religiously while on vacation. I don't like wearing my hair long for it to be a bother on the rides, and I don't like the way it looks tied back so tied back + hat = me :-)

DVC baseball cap.
Indiana Jones hat, but only at MGM, AK, & AKL.

Classic Minnie Mouse headband.. or my latest favourite, my Cinderella ear hat hands down.
