Growing out bangs - help!

I don't know if ths is the right forum, but I need help with my bangs. I have decided to grow them out but they aren't very long yet. Any ideas for things to do with them in WDW? I can't see myself with little barrettes (I'm 50 LOL!) but I know they will botering me in the heat. Suggestions?

I see lots of girls at the cheerleading gym wearing those all- the- way- around- your- head elastic bands, the ones that are the same diameter as the regular ponytail holders, even with their longer hair up in ponytails. I'm guessing they help keep all the "stragglies" off your face! I have to have something that will stay put better, so I'll use either bobby pins or those little metal springy barrettes that match my hair color. And lots of hair spray.

I am growing mine out too. I pull them straight back and make an x with 2 bobby pins (just the bangs), then pull them up a little for volume in the front, it works great too to dress up a ponytail, gives it a little something extra.

I used a head band. The metal ones that have little comb-y tines hold the hair back nice and tight for rides.

I use those little clips. When I'm in WDW, I clip the bangs back and then throw the rest of my hair up, and my hair's pretty short. Try it out! It'll do you good!

I use an elastic headband, I too am growing out all of my hair. I have a fairly big head and the hard plastic headbands give me a headache. Good luck!!!!

another vote for elastic headbands...I use them when I want my bangs out of my face...and it looks cute with a ponytail with the headband too.

I too am growing my bangs out.

I've tried the headbands but even the no-slip ones eventually come off. Why I don't know.

If I've needed to I've put the flat clips in and they hold really well.

Good luck with growing your bangs out, I have my moments of I'm going to cut them because they are driving me crazy. I can't wait for them to get long enough.
