Groups charging separately?

We are a party of 12 (4 different families) who will be eating all our meals together. Will we be able to put each family's meals on their own cards?

Just make sure you let the server know when you first sit down, it makes it so much easier!

We did this in Aug (one family of four, one of two, three singles), and some waitstaff was MUCH nicer about it than others. The surly chick at Mama Melrose's stands out in my memory since she literally rolled her eyes at our request! Most were pretty good about it, although it did make more work for them. Remember to check your bill carefully, since automatic 15% gratuity may already be included, since you have a large party, even though you have separate checks. No extra gratuity for the eye rollers, a little extra for the smiley ones!
