I was ready to kick myself for not going thru eBates until I did the math! 9% of $5 is 45 cents. Of course, every penny counts. It just wasn't worth a swift kick in the rear for leaving it on the table!

No - Usually I can find better hotel discounts in one of the thousands of other places. I got AAA when we both had very old cars that might break down. I like their travel guidebooks, but the internet has so many great resources for research. The 5% for gift card purchases goes into your AAA member account. I use it for dues, so my annual cost to be a member is cut significantly.
