GROUPON Special Rates? Any Experience?

Does anyone have any experience with the Groupon rate hotels? We're looking at a particular hotel right now and didn't know if anyone had any problems after purchasing?

You just need to read the fine print on the Groupon to determine if there are any limitations for when you can use it (e.g., "weekdays only," "No major holidays"). And you might want to call or check with the hotel online for your dates first. Just because you buy the Groupon doesn't guarantee you a room on your dates if the hotel is already booked at that time. And also check on "hidden fees." Groupons don't always cover resort fees, wifi fees, parking or taxes.

I did one with an san diego hotel. Just make sure u read through everything though, was expected to pay for parking since it was in the heart of San Diego gaslamp district. it was an easy experience. Make sure u stake point earns with it, chase ultimate rewards gives u 4x back booking through chase--> groupon
