Groupon Questions

I just signed up for Groupon - probably one of the last to do it! - and have a few questions:
- Can I see Groupon deals in cities other than my own? Say I'm traveling to New York City and want a deal there - how do I do that?
- When do certificates expire?
- Has anyone had any difficulty redeeming certificates?

Yes, on the main page just type in whatever city you want to search. Each offer is different as to when they expire, so you need to read the fine print on each deal carefully. And I have never had a single problem redeeming them, use them all the time!

-Yes you can. when you are on the Groupon page if you click on your city at the top it will bring up a menu of all the cities that participate. You can also go into your email settings and have them send you emails from as many cities as you want. When I'm going to Orlando I have them send me Orlando deals as well as my hometown deals. I'm currently signed up for L.A and Orange County deals since we are going to DLR in November.

-Depends on the deal. Most last for a year but the company can make their own expiration if they want. Always look at the expiration date before purchasing anything.

-Never had any issues, I just always make sure I let them know I have a Groupon right from the beginning.

Just so you know, there is also Living Social and Amazon Deals that you can sign up for. Between the three companies I'm buying really good deals all the time.

There's also eversave and saveology along with woot and tanga. They all have good deals. Just have to check them everyday since they change. Woot and tanga are daily deals for everyone everywhere. Eversave and Saveology are for different cities and it's easy to check different cities and their deals. I like to check a variety of cities for groupon and livingsocial too. I have gotten some great deals for myself and friends and family. Happy shopping.
