Groupon.com and U.K. Credit cards

Not sure is thus is the correct forum to ask this, so mods, please move if required.

Trying to book tickets for BMG via Groupon.com offer
My registered credit card has expired, so......
Logged into my Groupon.com account
Credit card tab..... Enter new card details
The country/state options are only showing USA / Canada from the drop down options
I can enter all other details include postcode with no problem.
Don't want to enter a dummy state just incase the card gets blocked.

Anyone else had this issue, and if so, how did you get round it?

I did. So I emailed them earlier this year.

They told me to enter my State as USA. It worked.

I tried and tried about a month ago Nigel but couldn't get it to work any way I tried. I used UK address, US hotel address etc. Ended up with the PO sending me a text asking me to ring them and confirm it was me using it.
They then said I should have no problems but when I tried again it still wouldn't work so I gave up.
I sent Groupon an email and they said it wasn't possible to buy anymore unless our home address was in the list of countries in the drop box.

Others have managed though

My experience was about three months ago, Wayne. So if there has been a change, my post is irrelevant since your experience was more recent. That would be a shame though. The US Groupon has some great deals

I know that somebody here bought Sea World tickets with Groupon just last month and used the WDW zip code and it worked just fine.

Maybe its down to the card used? although I tried PO & Halifax Clarity, the 2 most popular.

I will try again when I see a deal.

My card is also Post Office.
