Group tours of Italy?

Can anyone recommend a good tour group provider for a trip to Italy? If you had a bad experience and can tell me who to avoid that would also help. My friend and I would like to go early this fall. Any information would be appreciated.

I don't have any suggestions for tours, but wanted to remind you that for my area, rainy season starts around mid-Sept.
