Group Reservations - Coral Reef

Hi Everyone -
I am new to this forum experience. But I am hoping someone can help me. My family (21 in totla) will be traveling to Disney 11/30-12/5. We have hit our 180 days and were able to make all of our ADRs except for Coral Reef.
Here we have hit a very frustrating road block. We called WDW Dine first who gave us the indivicual number to the restaurant due to our large party. We have called this number every day for the past week and have left a message every time still to no avail. We have not even heard a response!
We are DVC members so we tried that route, their suggestions was to make alternative plans and keep trying.
I saw the thread regarding the Hoop Dee Doo and the same dates that we will be down. Has anyone else had this issue, or have any suggestions as to what we should do?

I know a lot of people are trying for the epcot restaurants, lunch or dinner and alot of stuff is on hold for the candelight processional packages. Were you just wanting a regular lunch or dinner there or a candelight package?

If you want a candelight package, I think they came out later in August last year.

When I made my 180 day reservations this morning one of the 2 that I was unable to get was coral reef for lunch. The other was Tusker house. The CM on the phone told me that neither restaurant had been 'loaded' yet and to make backup plans and to keep trying for those 2. Since Tusker house is in AK and has nothing to do with the candlelight processional, and I was able to reserve 7 other Epcot restaurants, I suspect there is some other explanation.

Thanks for your responses. We did finally get a response. Evidently the manager at the Coral Reef was on vacation and no one was checking messages (not very Disney in my opinion). But anyway it does have to do with the CP packages. We would rather not have to purchase an extra package, but it may be the only way to get an ADR at the Coral Reef. We did make backup reservations. The manager told us that they will call us back next Tuesday with availability. It will be interesting to see if this happens since the CP packages probably will not be out for 2 more months!

Also if you are on the dining plan then a cp package is 2 credits so you might want to see what your adrs look like etc.

I think your best bet would probably be something much later on after the last cp packages are done dining but then you would probably miss illuminations etc.
