Going in July with 12 other family members, and already ready to drop kick a few of them. Here's the newest question that I don't have an answer for because it's never been a priority to *me*...

The "elders" want a group picture taken of all us in our matching personalized shirts in front of the castle, but want as few "strangers" in it as possible. Yes, I know, there's *always* people around you, but, to humor them, any suggestions as to eliminate non-personalized-shirt-wearing-ready-to-kill-each-other people from the aforementioned picture? We're going to try for Cindy's at opening PS, so I thought maybe that would be the best chance we'll get.

Would it be easier at Epcot?

Thanks!
Terri

That sounds like a good strategy. I am sure if you have a large group and there are any CM's around they can help with "crowd" control.

If you can't get the early seats at CRT, try for the early ones at CP - they are easier to get!

Another idea for getting this shot is staying after Wishes at night. If you stay 30 min. or more after Wishes ends, the park clears out and you can get pictures of the castle with NO ONE in them. We have lots by doing this. Plus you get to hear the kiss goodnight! :)

We had our picture taken on the left side of the castle and no one else but us are in the pic. There was a sign by us that stated that is was a great picture spot so I tried it. A stranger took it from the other side of the walkway and although you might not get the whole castle in, it's a pretty good shot.

We take a family photo in front of the castle every trip. Our favorite place to do so is in the area right in front of the Crystal Palace. Stand right by the fence and having someone take your photo. There is a little "lake" and garden area behind you. It is a really large area and it is fenced off so there will be no "extras" near you in the photo. There may be people in the castle hub area but they are far enough back that they aren't in your picture. It's a great backdrop!

Thanks for the great ideas! We take a picture every year from "the side" of the castle, so I should have thought of that one! And I'm such a duh, I never thought of a night time picture. You all are the best!

Grammy's idea is excellent! We got a picture of SADCT parade from that spot with the castle and the water with the castle reflected in it. That is a beautiful picture spot.

Everyone here has great advice also with todays great digital camera's you can always edit out unwanted people in your photo's. My DH did this of a picture of the kids in the water at the Bahama's he edited out the other swimmers and the picture looks like our kids were on a private beach - LOL. I was amazed when he showed me the original and the edited one - it works pretty well.
