We have 9 in our party (4 adults 5 kids), are there any restaurants that are harder to book with a party of that size? We could split 5/4 if we really have to but would rather not.
Have tried to do mock reservations but right now it is close to Spring breaks and I dont know if that is a good representation of what really would be available in thevmiddle of June.
Some of the places that being looked at are
Cinderella’s (towards the end of a 7 day trip)
Ohana breakfast
Rodeo Roundup
Coral Reef
Skipper Cantina
Chef Mickeys
Beak and Barrel
Do these places seat 9 easily or do I need to split up? If I have to split up I would need the 4 person group MDE account info to make their reservation correct, since I am the only one that would get up early enough to make all the reservations.
Would it be easier to call and have Disney make the reservations if I need to split up or have my phone and computer both going and trying to find places and times?

Search for 10 people, system likes even numbers.

I just looked at coral reef. Max seating is 8 in the system. They have only have seating on one side so you can see the fish tank. So definitely need 2 reservations.

CRT is going to be the toughest. I don’t know if Beak and Barrel is still as hot as it was when it opened. It might have become a one done for many since the prices are relatively high for drinks.

I would play around in the app and see what you can book online and then be prepared to call on the day after trying online to get your remaining.

Boma, Biergarten, Garden Grill can do large parties easily. The Hibachi in Japan seats 10 at grill/table.

I can only speak to Ohana breakfast. We did that with a group of 20 (multiple families), the week after July 4.

One person in our group called ahead of reservation day and was told each family should try to make reservations for the same time. That’s what we did. Most of us got the same time, one family could only find 15 minutes later. When we checked in, we explained the situation. They were able to seat us in the same section at the same time, but we had to split into three tables.

It might be easier to seat 9 together, probably depends on the restaurant. Could one other adult make reservations with you? It probably will be easier to find times for 4/5 rather than 9.

Some restaurants allow 10, and others only 8 on the system. We just went with a party of 10. Easily got Jiko for 10 people. Got Cake Bake Shop on Open Table for 10 people. Diamond Horseshoe, easy for 10 people. The rest, I had to break apart like 6 and 4 or 8 and 2. They don't promise to seat you together, but we have always been able to be seated together once we get to restaurant and tell them we are all together. We went NYE week too so in less busy times like June, I imagine you will be okay.

You didn't mention these, but if helpful, I've done a party of nine at a single table at both Via Napoli and La Hacienda de San Angel. Booked both just like any other reservation through the site/app.

On a couple trips we had 11 diners.

I made many reservations for 5 + 6, (two tables/ADR's,) either at the same time or as close as I could get them.

We all sat together for every meal. Mostly with very minimal waits.

Could you report back with your experience after your booking window opens?
We have the same head count but looking at November time-frame.
Looking for many of the same restaurants as well.

I had a hard time with 7 last trip. 6 seemed to be easy, 7 was hard. Some restaurants' systems don't seem to accept more than 6 even if it's available (Garden Grill, I'm looking at you). We walked up and asked and it wasn't a problem, but that only helps if there are reservations available same day.
