I am needing the large group dinning reservation phone number. We are wanting to book a farewell brunch the day after the wedding at Cape May. How many people is considered a "group"? Im just trying to figure out if it would be better to just book a large group on our 180 days or if I need to call group dinning. How should I guesstimate the number of people? Should I just book it for our whole wedidng (which is only 30 people)? How would you hold the time for a group dinning... do I need to hold with a credit card?

Thanks so much!!!
Michelle

Depends which places you are doing the dining reservations for. Some have their own numbers to call directly - ex. Raglan Road and Boma. OThers use regular dining and then tag them together - le cellier and ohana. I then called each place to prepare them for such a large party to see if there were places for us at like 1900 park fare. Each one is different and annoying and super hard to find numbers for individual places. i have a few somewhere back when my ADRs were made but not entirely sure where they are now!

Unfortunately, Disney has done away with the Group Dining hotline, so now you just have to call the main dining reservation line and, if your group size is over the limit for the restaurant you want, get the direct phone number from the operator. All the same policies as a regular ADR apply: You can book at 180+10 days, you need a credit card guarantee (but not a deposit) for character meals and Signature Dining ($10/person no-show fee), etc.

I'd make the reservation for the most number of people you think will come, and then call back to revise it as you get a better idea of how many are actually coming. If it's a place with a credit card guarantee, though, I might underestimate a tiny bit. Better that they have to dig up a few extra chairs than you have to pay unnecessary no-show fees...

Thank you so much Lurkyloo!!! :goodvibes

When I booked Ohana for my reception, I spoke to the manager there before 180 days. She made the ressie for me and emailed me back with the confirmation number. It was pretty easy.
