We're traveling with a group of 11 (8 adults,3children) in Feb. When making priority seatings for the group of us we encountered many differing procedures. The first 2 locations Dinner at Garden Grill at EPCOT and Yacht Club Galley Breakfast were booked through the WDW-DINE line with no problem except a warning that we would probably have 2 tables. The next two were Cape May Cafe dinner, booked no problem, possibly 3 tables and Crystal Palace lunch, 2 tables.
When booking dinner for Whispering Canyon at WL, I had to be transfered to Group Dining and the PS had to secure to a credit card with a 24 hour cancellation notice or I presume I will be charged anyway. Also, warned that we would probably have two tables.
Any idea why the differing policies? If we make two separate PS's , one for 5 people and one for 6, with a request to be close together would we avoid the credit card business or is that standard procedure for everyone booking there during President's week?
