Group Dining in Palo with 8 adults. Advice?

We are 8 adults with separate reservations for Palo on the Fantasy, all at 6pm. (Parents 50th anniversary). Told by DCL we cannot request the private room as we are not 10 or more. I could swear I have seen smaller groups in that room. Any advice for all of us to sit together?

When you get on the boat, go to Palo and talk to the manager and they will take good care of your group in advance of your Palo evening.

You may well have seen smaller groups in the private room. It might be a case of them requesting it and there not be a larger group that wanted to eat there. It might also be some VIP's who the line wanted to impress.

In your case, the best advice is exactly what @coast2coastmickey suggests above, talk to the manager once you get on board. If you are flexible in what night you want to go that may help.
