Hey, i'm Eric, I'm 14 years old. I have a annoying little brother Chris who is 8 years old. I'm grounded today because of what happened last nigh

My parents were going out to dinner with there friends. I was babysitting Chris. When my parents left we were in our room, I have a bunk bed and his bed is across on the other side of the room, she was singging this annoying song, so I was like "If you don't stop singging I'll jump off the bed onto you", well he didn't stop singging, so when he was laying on his stomach, I get up and jump of the bed and land right on him with all my weight, and elbow him in the back and put him in a head lock. Well my brother got pissed, so he got my cell phone that was laying on the table and threw it out the window, so then I went out and got it. It was broke in half and threw one of the pieces at him. We both yelled and crused at each other the rest of the night till my parents got home and then my parents grounded me. Because I should know better, then not to fight with my brother. Well here's the thing about that. I have a sister who is 4 too and she was at my aunts so she wasn't there but when my brother fights with her and does stuff to her he doesn't get grounded.

Your brother's 8. Your 14. You are at least supposed to know better than him, and your sister as well.

Also, if your complaining about getting grounded, I'm sorry, but tough. You brought it on yourself. You could have hurt him very badly, over what? Him singing? Go into another room if it's bothering you THAT much. Don't get into a fight with him. Quite honestly, you deserve a broken cell phone, and getting grounded. I have zero sympathy for you.

You are fourteen years old. You're almost twice as old as him. That is pathetic. I don't have brothers or sisters, but I know that this is NOT how everyone with brothers or sisters treats them. You could have seriously hurt him.

I have no tolerance and no sympathy for anyone who hurts someone else out of anger.

And he is grounded today too, for throwing a baseball at my sisters head, he is grounded almost everyday for doing something to her, and hurting, her and he didn't learn it from me, because I usually just yell at him. So if you don't have sympathy for me, who only gets grounded for grades, don't have sympathy for him who is grounded every day he should know better too

Personally, your whole family sounds twisted. You're saying that you jumped off a bed and hit him, but he didnt' learn to throw a baseball at a little girls head from you.

I mean, if you hadn't had told him a threat and done just what you said, which was completely immature, he would not have thrown your cellphone out the window and gotten you grounded. Oh and guess what, they don't get gorunded because they're still kids - they're supposed to be like that. I would have just left the room. He would eventually stopped if you asked him in a better manner, or found you weren't getting annoyed.

Do you know the impact it could have on someone if you seriously injured someone, espeically if that person is still as young as 8 years? Throwing a BASEBALL at your sister? She could have had a serious injury, I mean, you should be as smart as to know that throwing something at someones head is dangerous.

I would also like to say that the only time I've ever gotten into a fight with a sibling, is with my younger cousin who's 11-12, I forget, but I swear that kid, if he really wanted to, could beat me up. I've trained that little punk to stand up for himself, and how to put up a fight.
