I would say definately ground floor. We were in that building, and just had to walk right outside for the pool and the walkway into the main building to catch the monorail or get coffee. We were also right off the sidewalk to the beach and it was so nice just to walk out and see the fireworks from there, plus the electrical pageant, or whatever it is called, lol.

One of my kids greatest memories is the ducks and birds that were always right outside the sliders. They loved feeding them cereal the first day. Every day thereafter, there were some ducks that literally came knocking on the sliding glass doors every morning, looking for food. My kids absolutely loved this and still talk about that. I know some people hate the birds and ducks there, but not us, we loved it, and we live in the woods, so seeing ducks and birds is an everyday occurance here, but they don't knock on our door at home, lol.
Don't forget though, that you can't lock your room from the slider. The kids and I would always walk out thru the slider, and my husband would have to use the door, lock it and meet us on the sidewalk, lol.
