I make different meatloafs -- sometimes regular sometimes more of an Italian seasoned one.

My grandmother used to make a dish called Melagatani (sp?) it was basically ground beef cooked with tomatoes and potatoes in a skillet.

My dad used to make what some people refer to as Chuckwagon Stew. He'd mix ground beef and baked beans. Some people add bbq sauce for taste. Bush's beans taste great with it.

My parents used to also make chinese food with ground beef.

I also tend to make different meatballs with groundbeef-- Swedish, Italian, and BBQ. You can do subs, pasta dishes, or just plain meatballs with sides.

Also with patties you can make different flavors-- I prefer Old Bay seasoned patties, there's the Lipton Onion soup kind, some people put cheese in the middle.

Also make your own homemade groundbeef pizza.

I've got a couple of favorites.

Salisbury Steak w/ Mushroom Sauce:
Ground Beef
Chopped Green/Red Peppers
Chopped Onion
Garlic
Fresh Bread Crumbs (1 to 1 1/2 cups)
Egg White
Steak Sauce

Combine and shape into patties (I use my tupperware patty shaper). Broil in oven, until cooked to your liking.
Create a mushroom sauce with mushrooms, butter, shallots, dry white wine, flour and beef broth. We serve this with egg noodles.

The item below doesn't really have a name, it is a dish my dad ate alot during the Depression.

Ground Beef sauteed with onions and garlic. Add one can each of drained corn, green beans, wax beans. Add between one and two cans of tomato sauce and let simmer. Should be about same consistency of sloppy joes.
We serve this over mashed potatoes.

I wasn't smart enough to know it was funny. I don't know what "helmets" are, so I figured "what the heck? Maybe people who eat helmets actually do take luge lessons." They must have such a thing as luge instruction for those who live near luge runs - and I've seen luge runs in Canada.

I make enchilada with ground beef, cheese and sauce. Depending on what spices you used, Meatball soup is easy also. To the list of baked pasta add Manacotti. When I cook make mine, I stuff the pasta without boiling them, and add extra sauce. I then refrigerate over night before baking. It takes along time, but it is easy.

I make a mean taco salad;)

Cook the ground beef and add taco seasoning.Let it cool a bit. In a big salad bowl, I put lettuce, chopped red onion, chopped green pepper, sliced black olives and a chopped tomato, a nd about 8oz of shredded cheese. Right before serving I add the beef. Then toss in crushed Doritoes(original red bag) and add some Catalina dressing and toss it all up.

Maid-rites

I use beef broth instead of chicken, and add a little yellow mustard while cooking.

Thanks so much for posting this link! I love the Maid Rite Sandwiches!! We still have a restaurant about 20 minutes away, where my aunt lives...every time I eat one it takes me back to visits with her cause we always got to go eat there. I've watched them make it for years and tried a couple times to duplicate it at home with no luck. Now, I'm gonna have to try with the recipe!

My family loves when I make Mince. It's nothing, really, but so nice to make something everyone will eat-it was a favorite of mine growing up..

Brown an onion(garlic too if you want), then brown ground beef, drain fat, cover the ground beef in the skillet with water, add sliced carrots and simmer for however long-30-60 minutes depending on when the water dissipates.
I shake in some powdered brown gravy near the end of the cooking time. Leave some liquid in there, should be saucy.
Season with salt and pepper.
Seve over mashed potatoes.
