Does anyone know how far the walk from the Grosvenor is to Downtown Disney?

We'll be staying there this Friday night and I want to get some "clothes" for my Mr. Potatohead... Also thinking Earl of Sandwich would be good for dinner - but if we can just leave the car at the hotel I'm thinking we can avoid the parking issues!

we stayed at the doubletree at DTD ain 2003 and it was less than 20 min walk
the grosvenor is closer so you should be in good shape less than 15 min

Are there cross walks or something to cross the street?

It is directly across the street from DTD. Maybe from lobby door to DTD grounds about 5-6 min tops. VERY CLOSE. There is a crosswalk w/lights at the corner.

Absolutely cannot wait! The hope is we'll leave south Texas around 3am Thursday morning - so we'll be in Orlando mid to late afternoon on Friday!

It's not far of a walk at all. A few years ago when we stayed there we walked with our then just turned 5 yo DD. There's just a crosswalk with the flashing person saying walk/don't walk. Grosvenor has a great breakfast too.

We too will be looking to add some accessories for Mr. Potato Head this weekend. We're driving from WI and will be leaving around the same time as you (3am Thurs). Won't be there until Sat. though.
Do you know what the price is for Mr Potato Head accessories? Do you have to buy them in bulk or can you buy individual pieces?

I don't know..

I was planning on buying the box of them... that's my "souvy" for the trip.. at least the main one.. Also will be looking for a Royal Dalton Bunnykin in Englad.

I can't wait - finalizing the packing today hopefully! Couple loads of laundry and we'll be set I think... well and the sandwiches for the road.. but can't do those until Wed. evening.. can't have "mushy" sandwiches!
