Grosvenor Resort

Hi kilee, Tell me about the Grosvenor. We'll be staying there on the 23rd with a great Ent. Card rate. ($55.00) We're trying to get that rate again for the 27,28th but nothing was available but the res. person told me to keep trying. I'm getting excited about this trip-kind of spur of the moment...only had 1 month to plan.

The Grosvenor actually gets mixed reviews. Some people don't mind it and others really feel it's seen much better days. It is typically a budget hotel/resort for the DTD area.

I posted a question about the Grosvenor and people let me know that they hated it. I have made reservations at the Buena Vista Suites since. Look for my thread maybe on page two and you can read what people had to say.

We stayed there in 2004. Found it to be quite nice. The staff in the restaurant are excellent! My father and I were having the buffet, and my mother was ordering off the menu. However, our waiter told us that my mother could have anything off the buffet too if she wanted for free! He was really nice.
We didn't like the bar. It was very small and we were asked to move so that people could play darts
It's a short walk to DTD which is very handy.
I don't remember any problems with the buses, except for lots arriving for Epcot, and none for MK for example.
