My friend has a candy dish at her desk. It's an old Halloween pail that has been a staple of her department for several years. It actually used to be my candy pail and I gave it to her when I switched to another department. We call it "Franks Head", as it is a pail shaped like Frankenstein.

Anyway, there was nothing in it today, no candy or anything. And so she had turned it upside down. Well, she went to flip it over today and someone had place a "feminine hygiene product" under it (basically in it). Actually, my boyfriend (who is in her dept. too) was the one who found it. Imagine his shock!

It wasn't used (I don't think!) but still, if it was someone's idea of a joke, it was not very funny. It came from a bathroom dispenser, and was placed in a candy dish people eat from!

My friend is also freaked out, like why would anyone do this?

It's kind of an immature thing to do in an office that I assume is full of adults, but if is unused, and meant to be a gag, I don't think I'd get too bent out of shape.

One word - BLEACH!! I think I'd use bleach to clean that pail out before I used it for anything else!
