Grope Claim Against Donald Duck

I am guilty of such an offense. At Chef Mickey's, when Goofy came to my table, I hugged him, and my hand landed on his chest... and that's when I discovered Goofy wasn't a "him" under that costume. I quickly moved my hand, but you can see how embarrassed I was in the picture. I swear, I would've sucked my hand back up into my arm if I could've - that's how bad I felt. Goofy never broke character, though. I'm guessing I wasn't the first to accidentally cop a feel

Ridiculous, makes me mad thinking that people can get away with filing law suits for some so stupid. Sad thing is Disney will probably settle so they don't have to waste time/money on this idiot.

I'd actually be surprised if they do settle. That would set a precedent that would open up a whole new batch of suits.

As for this case... I hope this gets thrown out of court as quickly as possible. People are ridiculous!

I think Donald should file a suit against her for slander. Or is it libel? I never know the difference. I know someone here will be sure to correct me.

Probably more likely, filing a frivolous lawsuit .

But for future reference: Slander is Spoken; libel is "the other one" (written)

The best interaction we ever had with a character was Chip. My DD was 5 at the time and was being all grumpy when we were in line. When we finally got up to Chip and Dale, they both hugged her and she was still scowling, so Chip picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and ran around in a big circle with her while Dale was chasing him and waving his hands everywhere. It was priceless and hilarious! DD was laughing hysterically. She was happy the rest of the day and they literally made our trip because we lept talking about it everyday!

So should I sue Chip for attempted kidnapping of my daughter??

And for the life of me...I've been hoping for Mary Poppins to grope me...No luck yet and I've seen her every year for the last 7!

The reason it took 2 years to file is due to the Statute of Limitations. she had 2 years to file from the date it occurred. they have spent the last 2 years trying to get Disney to give them money not to file suit. Disney has not caved so far so hopefully they will file a summary judgement motion and get it thrown out.
