I've been hearing about a groom's cake. What exactly is this? Is it like the top part of the wedding cake or another cake separate from your wedding cake? Is it eaten at the wedding b/c I heard somewhere that some people eat it at the rehersel dinner etc. Is it customary, I mean do most people get one? Thanks!!
How funny...I'm from the South also and every wedding that I've been to has had a groom's cake! I didn't even realize that some people don't have one. Guess you learn something new everyday! In the South, traditionally the groom's cake is chocolate! Let's here it for the cake!
...as you can tell...I love desserts!
so I guess it is a regional thing. Since that is the case you probably don't need it unless you really want it!
