I have heard that there are a few places that you can order groceries and they will deliver to your resort. Anyone used these services? Where they worth it? Which one is the best?

I have used several and the best is wegoshop.com
Their fee is $15. You can order from their web site or fax it in.
They will deliver to your room at the time you tell them (within the hour and you must be there).
They will shop at several different stores if necessary and you can purchase "adult beverages" if you desire. Well worth the money when you consider how much your saving overall.

Goodings will deliver groceries but not alcohol. I think it's a $10 fee. I believe you can use credit card. We're trying wegoshop because we'd like beer delivered also. I believe they charge a surcharge for credit card payment though.

We used wegoshop for our trip last week and it was great. As soon as we got our room we called them and the groceries were delivered in 45 min. We had beer, wine, a case of water and food. I would use them again. :flower:

Does Wegoshop make a stop at a liquor store or just the standard grocery stores? I have an order in with them already, but wasn't sure if they'd be able to pick up anything stronger than wine coolers or beer.

I had ordered groceries from Goodings before our trip to the WL in June. I had an awful experience with them. They were suppose to be there on Sunday night. we didn't get our stuff until Tuesday. Everyone we spoke to on the phone had a different story why our stuff wasn't there. Next time I will use another store.

Wegoshop will stop at a liquor store if you want them to. I think there is an extra charge if they have to make 2 stops. If you pick a grocery store with a liquor store at the same stop I don't think you pay the extra. I'm not 100% certain about the charges so you might want to ask them.

Hi,
As we are coming over from England, how can I find out which store sells what? would love to use this facility but dont' know where to ask them to shop or what is available. Any ideas?

I'd go to their website and submit a request. Under special instructions section tell them you're from England and are unsure if the stores sell some of the items on your list. They'll e-mail you back within a few days.

Do all of the grocery stores in Florida have liquor?

Sounds like Wegoshop is the best delivery service to use.

I also wonder what grocery/liquor combo store might be best to request with wegoshop? We only :rotfl2: need beer/wine/vodka and juice boxes, snacks for the kids since we are on the dining package.

I just asked her to pick the place she thought we would get the best price since I had no idea what to request. She went to a Publix, but I don't know what one. It worked out well for us. We got water, breakfast stuff, snacks. wine and vodka.

thanks for the publix tip. In MA, you can only buy alcohol (beer/wine/anything else) in what we call liquor stores but I know other states are different; ie., NH has liquor stores that don't sell beer/wine which you buy at the local "quick-stops".

Another vote for wegoshop. I was hesitant about using a shopping service because we had never done it before. We used wegoshop in June and it was great! We got exactly what we ordered and they were at our resort about 20 minutes after we called, it was great!

I think the Publix she used has a liquor store next to it so it makes it only one stop as far as the delivery fees go. In Florida, from what I remember, they only sell beer and wine in the grocery stores.

Another vote for wegoshop. Use them every trip. They are wonderful. I am picky about wine. I tell then in advance several choices and Eric always shops around and finds what I want and at the best prices. They have also brought fresh Krispe Kreme donuts for ds  We love them. It is well worth every penny you pay.

Hi,

I was wondering if you could tell me how much they charged you to deliver your order. The website said there was a $15 shop fee + delivery. I was wondering what it the delivery total was.

Thanks!

That confused me too!!
When I emailed them they said it is a total of $15 for shopping fee & delivery, not $15 fee PLUS delivery.
We're going to try them in September

We were there last month and used wegoshop. :cool1: we were charged $15 plus $2-3 to cover the increase in gas prices. I cannot say enough good things about them. They even offered to make a second grocery run for us and charge 1/2 the delivery if we needed to replenish anything in the middle of the week

we told them to shop where ever they thought that they should shop we got beer too but that was all in the line of adult beverages. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

One great big vote for wegoshop and i told them to watch out because i was going to tell everyone about them :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We just used them in July and I have to agree that they were wonderful. The fee they are talking about is a $2 charge for each stop in addition to the $15 for the first $100 in groceries. So if you want them to go to Sams Club and then the liquor store you would pay $4 total in addition to the $15. Well worth the money. We got breakfast items, cases of water, gatorade, and juice boxes. We also got fruit.
