Grocery within Walking Distance of RPR?

Does anyone know if we can walk to a grocery store near Royal Pacific?

A new grocery just opened nearby but not within “walking distance” .and it is very nice!
Sprouts is closer than the Whole Foods.

There`s a Wamart Supercenter on Turkey Lake Road, much closer than the one PP mentioned, but probably not within walking distance, it`s 2.6 miles away. Short drive though.

There are Walgreens close, but again, I wouldn`t walk there. One is on Kirkman fairly close to PBH, and the other is on I Drive right opposite Endless Summer resort.

A cab/uber won`t cost much if you don`t have a car, I wouldn`t fancy walking from any of them never mind carrying any groceries you wanted.

If you are flying in, depending on how you are getting from the airport to the hotel, some of the shuttle services allow for a stop on the way to the hotel for little to no extra charge. That might be an option for you.

Wish one was nearby. 32 dollars for a gallon of milk at royal pacific. I thought Disney’s close to 8 dollars for a gallon was high. A half of pint was 2 dollars at royal pacific the only size I seen meaning it will cost you 32 dollars for a gallon. So we mainly did without. Got a couple at voodoo donuts when we got donuts.

That is a ridiculous charge now at $30 for a gallon

Years ago - like 18 years ago - we actually walked from RPR to International Drive - that road was pretty quiet back then. We cut through the parking lot and walked down Universal Boulevard. There is a Walgreens right at the intersection - it looks like it's less than a mile. You will have to cross Universal boulevard to the east side of the road to walk on the sidewalk.

Shuttle stop has always been our preferred method, but with Covid-related early closures, our flight came in too late over Thanksgiving Break. We used Instacart to have groceries from Publix delivered to us at the Hard Rock. We prepared before we left home by starting a free trial of their Express service and were very pleased with the shopping process on the app as well as the delivery. We had to be there to receive the driver, but she arrived within ten minutes of the time estimate. There are other delivery services as well.

I added everything to my cart at home but I ordered it from the resort, took about two hours... you can set it up ahead of time I just did not.
