I am wondering what is the best place to shop for groceries near or on International Drive? We are staying at the Homewood Suites and was wondering what is the closest grocery store to the hotel. Also for anyone who has stayed at the Homewood Suites, have you ever used their grocery delivery service? Or has anyone had gorceries delivered to their hotel room? We are not renting a car so I am looking for ways to stock our firdge with some food items. Thanks for any help.

You really have a couple of choices one of them you named.We stayed there this past oct and loved the place.The staff was as nice as could be and were very helpful.Our room was cleaned each and every day as well as our dish washer loaded each day.Now to answer your question.There is a gooding's down the street from you(quite expensive) at least it was for me and our visit.You can also get there with the i-drive trolly or walk. There is also a walgreens within walking distance where you can buy some things,Next option and cheaper...Take a taxi to publix on sand lake road.The breakfeast is good at homewood suites and you get free wireless internet.mon -thurs they have a free reception at nite ...Lite food beer ,wine.The pool is small,but they also have a gas grill out there if you want to cook something on the grill.The refegerator is a full size.full size micro wave.and if i am thinking right a 3 burner stove.i dont remember a oven.any other help please ask!

Thank you so much on the info, especially about the Homewood Suites. We are planning on staying there next February for 10 days and I wanted to make sure it was a nice plance to stay. One more question, did you use any of the shuttles? We only plan on doing disney one day and the rest of the time we will do universal, seaworld and busch gardens. If anyone has stayed here and used the shuttles I sure would like to hear about it. Thanks once again.
