Grocery stores

We're staying at SSR and are wondering if there are any grocery stores close by WDW? Does anyone know directions?

There is a publix, an Albertson's and in Kissimee there is a super walmart. You can get directions on allears.net. An alternative that you may want is a grocery delivery like gardengrocer.com. They deliver right to you for a small fee which saves you from running around. Very convienent.

because it's easy to find, is past DTD and just across International Drive so it should be near your resort. We usually just head to DTD according to the Disney signs and keep going. There is a McDonalds at the light on the other side of International Drive. When you cross at the light you are in a shopping center parking lot.

That would be Goodings in the Crossroads shopping center. Convenient yes, but very expensive. I also suggest the OP look into a delivery service like GardenGrocer or Wegoshop. We've used GG and will definitely do so again. Why go to a grocery store on vacation?

If you are talking about Goodings -- so as not to confuse someone reading signs - that is not INternational Drive you are crossing -- it is Apopka-Vineland. International is a bit away.

It sounds from the rest of your description you are talking about the Goodings in Crossroads.
