Grocery Stores near SSR

I was wondering if anyone could give me the name of the grocery store and possibly street name of where the store is located. We plan on buying our things after we check in and would like the shortest trip from SSR if possible. Thanks, Sean

This is the grocery we've used during our SSR stays. I'd say it's a 10 minute drive or less and the prices are much better than Gooding's:

You can probably check my directions from their site but from memory: I believe it's a left turn out of SSR to Hotel Plaza Blvd, then another left at the plaza where Gooding's is - Winn Dixie is about a mile or so down the road. It's on the right set back a little bit - there's an ABC Liquor right in front of it. You can sign up for their discount card right at the cash register & I've found I usually save a few dollars by using it.

The first one you will find is Goodings...DO NOT STOP THERE! OMG....what a rip off! Granted, I manage a grocery store, but the $12 case of water and $7 cereal put me over the edge. I consider WalMart the mortal enemy, but I was never so glad see one in my life!

there's also a newer SuperWalmart only about 5 minutes away, once you pull out (right turn) onto 535 from Down town Disney area. I'm not one to promote Walmart, but as far as prices and convience go it's pretty good. I won't shop at Goodings either because there prices are so ridiculous-I wonder how they stay in business at all w/all the new competition around? On our last trip we stopped in there for just a couple of items and the place was empty. We ended up leaving as the food didn't even look good enough for the kind of money they ask.

We use Winn Dixie too ony I signed up for their card on-line.

From the Hotel Plaza Blvd. if you got right, there is a nice SuperWalmart. Also, further down 535, there is another grocery store on the left, I think it's a Publix. I recommend getting a map of the Orlando area somewhere like the AAA because you can save a lot of time finding these places.

We go to Walmart too. It is literally 5 minutes away and a straight shot once you exit WDW on 535.

For a ten dollar fee (plus tip if you are inclined) garden grocer will deliver to your resort. You just go online and shop. I haven't tried it, but others on here have. Use zip code 32830.

I have done the wegoshop.com thing before with a good experience. However, I'm travelling w/ a friend who wants to pick her own stuff. Glad to hear there are several close by.
