Grocery Stores near park???

We are staying at the Howard Johnson near the park and will be shuttling there, so no car.

Does anyone know if there is a local grocery store that will deliver to hotels near the DL parks? (Like Garden Grocers does at WDW?). Or is there a grocery store within walking distance?

VONS (owned by Albertsons/Safeway) offers delivery service. www.vons.com

There is a CVS and Walgreens at the corner of Harbor and Katella which have limited groceries available.

I like the option of taking the OCTA Route 543/43 from in front of the Tropicana Bus Stop north about 3 miles to the corner of Harbor and Orangethorpe.

The bus stop is in front of an In-n-Out Burger (great food), and you can get a Super Walmart, a Target with limited groceries and a Sprouts Farmers Market (similar to a Whole Foods). Also plenty of other shopping including a Sketchers Outlet, Dollar Stores, etc.

Then if you buy enough, use a Taxi/Uber/Lyft to get back to the Hotel.

If you have Amazon Prime, that is another option for grocery delivery to your hotel. Make sure to check with the HoJo about their delivery policy.
